Physical Therapy & Athletic Enhancement
Sports Rehabilitation & Injury Prevention
In recent years, there has been a large increase in athletic injuries within the middle school and high school age groups. The expectations placed on the athletes, and the expectations they place on themselves, has led to an epidemic of injuries we have not seen before. Fortunately, For Life Physical Therapy is here for you with expert Doctors of Physical Therapy specializing in athletic rehabilitation.
For Life Physical Therapy is proud to have Dr. Zach Lambrechts, a life-long athlete, in our Watertown Clinic. From a 3-sport athlete in high school, followed by a collegiate baseball player at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD, to being a member of the Castlewood Ravens amateur baseball team, and now active in coaching, Zach is the area's expert in return-to-play rehabilitation.

As a Physical Therapist, proper movement is our number one goal. Our For Life Model of Care addresses movement throughout all phases. As our athletes demonstrate improved mobility, joint stability and strength, we then move into return-to-functional activity and sport specifics. Our athletes follow very specific return-to-activity protocols, personalized to their sport or activity. This is incredibly important in order to limit the risk for re-injury.
The most common sports related injuries are ACL tears, ankle sprains, and overuse injuries causing pain. Some injuries do require surgery and a longer recovery time than others. Our Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists are the experts in rehabilitating these types of injuries and following surgery. We are here for you every step of the way back to the sport that you love.
